Contextual weather app tailored to nightlife users
Night Life is a concept weather application designed specifically for people who are planning a night out in Providence. The objective was to design a localized and experience-driven interface that provides relevant weather information for nightlife, enabling users to make informed decisions about what to wear and how to proceed with their night.
Since I am not part of the target audience, this project demanded a change in perspective. By using mood boarding and research, I created a visual style that reflected the essence of nightlife and differentiated the application from other weather applications.
I implemented the interface design using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. One of the challenges that I faced was optimizing the grid system to provide alignment for the data elements. After identifying a problem in the layout in the grid system, I rearranged the structure of the container to provide alignment according to the design.
The final project is a unique and user-centric weather interface that combines data functionality with design context, which is specifically tailored to meet the needs of nightlife users.
