Giggle is a movie database with a focus on comedy movies, aiming to make finding “feel-good” movies easy, quick, and fun. The aim was to build a site that is both beautiful and highly functional, balancing personality with strong structure and navigation.
I started by working on the brand identity, giving the project a name that reflects its focus on humor-driven content. The logo includes a custom element, where the eyes are incorporated into the double “G” of the logo, forming a fun “watching” face that is directly related to the movie theme and makes the brand easily recognizable.
The website was developed based on essential content needs, such as a hero section to highlight a movie, a featured content section, an upcoming movies section, and a sidebar layout. I enhanced the content system to include more genres and created each section with a unique visual hierarchy to enhance scanning, discovery, and overall usability. The website was developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong focus on clean structure, responsiveness, and a high-quality front-end experience.
During the development process, I paid close attention to detail and precision, making sure that the design and code were working seamlessly together for a smooth user experience.
