Linked is a conceptual resort brand that exists in the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, and Jamaica. The brand is designed for couples and revolves around the idea of romance, togetherness, and amenities that are specifically designed for a vacation experience.
I started the process by developing the brand direction through logo concepts, page sketches, and the development of a style scape. After the identity system was locked, I worked on the key screens of the app, as well as add to cart and confirmation flows.
As this was my first experience with designing an interactive app, the biggest hurdle was to switch over to the mindset of interaction design—to think about how users would behave and to plan for every possible point of interaction. It took a lot of testing to make sure that all points of interaction were easily distinguishable and consistent.
The final outcome is an integrated and brand-friendly interactive experience that strikes a balance between romance-driven design and easy navigation.
